  • Notes 
    • Her maiden name may have been Wilson. In 1850, in Iowa, a Samuel Wilson, age 35, was living with the Foster's and gave his birthplace as Pa. Both his occupation and Foster's were given as farmer, not farmer and laborer. I'm guessing he may have been Elizabeth's brother.
      Other Ancestry family trees give her name as Kimler.
      Missouri, Ralls County cemetery records give an Elizabeth Kummler Griffth Foster, death date of Feb 9, 1887. So there is some confusion here as the other family trees say she died feb 2 1888
