- At Findagrave, there's a Sarah J. Dyer buried in Lafayette, IN, born Feb. 1840, died Jul 1908. But she's buried with her husband George W Dyer who died in 1917, so it seems very unlikely that this is the same woman.
The 1900 census says she was the mother of two children (presumably by first marriage). There's an 1880 census record that might be her, but with only one son listed, spouse John T. Dyer in Harrison Co.
