- There is a marriage record for Abigail Pike and Henry Bennet/Benit in 1713. It's barely possible this might be the right couple, tho the New England Historical and Genealogical Register does not list Lydia as their child.
Samuel Bennet had a daughter Lydia born in 1746.....our Lydia's uncle? Or is Barbour wrong and Henry did not have a daughter Lydia?
